The Sports Jacket

The sport jacket is something that every prep should have no matter what.  The sports jacket also known as the blazer is something that shouldn’t be worn to match with a suit but to complement whatever is being worn. Sports jackets are great for polo’s, sport shirts, sweaters, and even t-shirts.

The Plaid Skirt

Since the beginning of prepdom girls have always worn the plaid skirt. But for some reason the plaid skirt has been labeled as a prep school thing only. Well for spring/summer 2009 the plaid skirt is a must have with different styles coming from many designers.

Here is a couple that has mastered the art of being causal. The white shirt with cardigan around the top is a good look for everyday casual wear. The gentleman with khakis is dead on for this year. With today’s economy a more tailored look is the best way to stay in style and save money.

True Gentlemen

This Gentleman has done a perfect job at pulling off the golf look. Wearing a green shirt with a sleeveless white sweater and white pants, and to top it off he’s wearing lacoste sneakers. Even though its winter this is a great look for spring/summer 2009.
